Go Out With a Bang

Go Out With a Bang

So a new fashion in hair I've been noticing and loving is bangs. The Betty Page bangs have been popular with the girls for a while but I'm talking about a slightly longer more razored edge. I see a lot of hipsters with this look and I love it. I have to live vicariously though others bangs because it just doesn't work with my hair. Maybe that's why I like it so much. I've seen Feist and Cat Power sporting the bangs this season and they rock it. So if you're considering this look but feel like it's passae, you're sorely mistaken. Take the plunge. Hair grows.

Put Your Best Face Forward: The Mineral Make-up Revolution

Put Your Best Face Forward: The Mineral Make-up Revolution

Photobucket

San Franscico is definatly one of the top trend setting cities of the world.  There is no such thing as execess when it comes to beinf fashionable in the city, but when it comes to your face does it really make a differance what brand name you are putting on? Can people really tell. I think so and many ladies and various men in the Castro would agree.

Mineral make-up has virtually taken over the industry since it hit the main stream. Every brand has a mineral faoundation alternative to it's normal, chalk full of chemical, foundation. San Franscico's own Bare Escentuals; Bare Minerals is the by far the top selling mineral make-up out there. I was skeptical at first becasue of the cost but my friend and co-worker kept insisting one I go Bare I won't go back. She was right. It covers well, feels great and I swear actually improves my skin. It doesn't contain talc or any pore clogging powders like many other brands. They are constantly putting out new products too. So you'll never get bored with a grim asortment or the same old eye shadow shades.

Try it and I swear on my faverite album, you won't be disappointed.
